This building was supplied to a local authority to act as an office and staff welfare facility for the parks maintenace team. The building has a high security fully welded steel outer shell with secuity shutters over all doors and windows. The inside has a high level of insulation and uses an air sources heat pump to provide power to the wet heating system. This option allows the building to achieve a high rating for Building Regulations Part L energy efficiency, provides a low running cost option when only mains electric is available and can still be secured against theft and vandalism unlike solar.
